True belief and commitment are in extremely short supply! However, even in the '60s, a liberal blip in the history of United States conservatism, the "hippies" and other rebels acted just as much like sheep as their opponents did. Where are the independent thinkers, who actually seriously consider their position on issues? We need them FAST to save us!
When I was 9 years old I created a short-lived comic strip starring 'Walter the Walrus' that appeared on my mother's refrigerator...
Many, many years later, I was a struggling designer living in the ghetto of Chicago. After a bit of racial harassment, I decided to use the difficult situation as fodder for a cartoon diary... Which soon appeared not only on my mother's refrigerator, but also as a weekly feature in the Lansing NOISE (May 2005 - November 2008 - now on hold due to budget cutbacks). I hope you enjoy it!
